Fee Subsidy for Low Income Families

A parent/guardian or child who holds a current Commonwealth Health Care/Pensioner Concession Card holders are eligible for a reduction in their fees. To obtain this, the Health Care Card/Pensioner Concession Card must be sighted prior to the start of the term by Merle Cook and/or Treasurer.

The Kindergarten Fee Subsidy works by meeting the cost of only 10 hours of kindergarten per week.  Your child will now be in a weekly program which provides 12 hours of kindergarten, which is in accordance with the Department in working towards 15 hours of kindergarten per week by the beginning of the Year 2013.  With there now being a gap between the subsidy and the program fee, there will be an outstanding amount that parents who hold a current Commonwealth Health Care/Pensioner Concession Card will have to meet for the additional program hours.

Acceptance Fee

An Acceptance Fee payment of $60 (non-refundable) is required when an offer for a place in a program is provided in order to secure/reserve the place. If a place is being held for a child, and for whatever reason is unable to start in Term 1, the $60 may be held as a holding fee. 

An Excursion Fee will be advised and will be payable at the time of the outing. Excursions are kept to a minimum.
